Everything players need in one place — formatted for quick reading, easier moderation, and cleaner onboarding.
No grouping for the sole purpose of killing another player. You must verbally ungroup with someone before you are allowed to attack them. Simply leaving the group and immediately attacking that player is against the rules and will result in punishment.
There are no pack limits for most dinos. Apex dinos must follow a 2-player maximum per group. Apex dinos include Rex, Trike, Stego and Deino. One apex may run with any amount of non-apex dinos. If every dino in the group has Social Behavior, the group may have one extra apex. Carnivores and herbivores with maxed mutations can open a ticket to receive Social Behavior from admins to increase their apex group size. For all other dinos, you must verbally group and ungroup with other players. If it is outside the in-game group limit, after grouping you must wait a day before joining a new group solely for the purpose of attacking your old group.
There is no limit on the amount of mixed dinos you can play with together unless you are fighting with one of the apex dinos listed above. Only one apex is allowed in a mixpack at a time. There is no limit to any dinos outside the apex list.
There is currently one Safe Zone. No PVP is allowed inside the Safe Zone. Any player caught attacking inside the Safe Zone for any reason will have their dino deleted. Players are not allowed to escape an active PVP scenario by running into the Safe Zone. If a player does run into the Safe Zone during PVP, do not attack them inside the zone. Make a ticket and the admins will handle it. The affected player will be awarded the body of the player who broke the rule, along with the kill credit the fight would have given.
If you are currently in a grouped PVP scenario and die, you are not allowed to come back as any dino and continue that same PVP unless both parties agree. The scenario ends when all dinos from one party die or bow out of the fight. If you escape and enough time has passed, and you are no longer being hunted, you may return to spectate but must stay a reasonable distance away. Other players can join in only if they were not part of the initial PVP. Insiding is completely prohibited, including joining a team for the sole purpose of providing location or information.
There is currently no third-party rule. Respect each other's experience. If this begins to get abused, rules will be put into effect.
Intentionally griefing players will result in a punishment determined by admins on an individual basis. The reporting party must provide actual evidence of the griefing.
Logging out, parking or teleporting while being chased is prohibited. You may only log out, park or teleport if you have been removed from combat for more than 5 minutes, or if both parties agree to end combat. You may not begin any PVP combat after the 10-minute server restart countdown starts.
Creating a nest or spawning into one for the sole purpose of killing hatchlings or destroying eggs will result in an instant slay and a warning.
Problems with other players, admins or the game must be handled outside of global and local chat. If you suspect cheating, open a ticket. Spamming local chat with negative or hateful talk can earn a strike, so use the ticket system inside Discord. Attacking, harassing or bullying players in local or global chat is completely forbidden and will result in an instant server timeout, with the duration determined by the admin and the severity of the message.
Any hateful words or speech will result in an instant ban from the server. All rules are subject to change at any time.
